The Rotary Foundation (TRF)
Rotary Foundation:
The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world.
Benefits of The Rotary Foundation:
A Safer World
Military might alone can not produce peace. The Rotary Foundation offers alternatives
and a better life for thousands.
Cultural Awareness
Young professionals in our communities can discover new insights about their
work responsibilities as practiced in other parts of the world while exploring
the richness of other cultures as part of a Group
Study Exchange.
Educational Opportunity
Young people in our communities can compete for generous scholarships which
provide for foreign academic study and experience as ambassadors of goodwill.
World Peace Fellows prepare to address conflict resolution issues worldwide.
Ambassadorial Scholars further their education while promoting understanding between their culture and their host community.
Community Service
A percentage of donations to the Rotary Foundation are used in our own community
for qualified projects to benefit the environment, children, the elderly
or disadvantaged. The Rotary Foundation can improve the quality of life for
all citizens, local and international.
